In-home Respite & Support
Our NDIS in-home respite and support service provides tailored support to individuals with
disabilities and their carers to promote their well-being and independence. This service is
designed to give carers a break from their responsibilities while ensuring participants receive the
care and support they need. Under this service, our support worker will come to the participant’s
home and provide necessary care and support while the carer takes a break. We will assist with
household tasks, medication management, accessing community resources and any other
service you need.
Our in-home respite and support services include:
- Assistance with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, or laundry, enables the participant to remain in their home and be independent in their conduct.
- Assistance with medication management.
- Support with accessing community resources, such as healthcare services or social activities.
- May ensure the provision of assistive technology or equipment to support independent living, if deemed necessary.
The in-home respite and support service aims to provide flexible, individualised support to meet the unique needs of participants and their carers. By enabling carers to take a break and
supporting participants, the NDIS aims to promote the well-being and independence of
individuals with disabilities and their families.
