Assistance with Daily living & Personal care
Our assistance with daily living and personal care service aims to help the participants manage
their daily activities and live as independently as possible. With the help of this service, we wish
to empower the participants to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This
support category will be tailored to the participant’s needs and goals, as determined through the
NDIS planning process.
Under our assistance with daily living and personal care activities service, our support workers
will:
- Assist with personal care activities like ensuring the timely intake of medications.
- Prepare meals and ensure the intake of a balanced diet.
- Provide support with getting in and out of bed, and assistance with walking and exercise.
- Help build capacity by encouraging participation in basic skill development sessions.
- Help you remain up to date with all your paperwork, bills and appointments.
The level of support provided will vary depending on the individual's disability, their goals, and
the level of support required to achieve those goals.
