Community Participation
Community participation is essential to living a fulfilling life, and at T2 Care Support, we
understand its importance. Our community participation service is designed to support NDIS
participants in engaging with their community, building meaningful relationships, and pursuing
their interests and hobbies.
Our support workers can assist NDIS participants with various community participation
activities, including:
- Attending community events and gatherings. Our team will accompany participants to social events, community gatherings, and other activities to promote socialisation and community involvement.
- Pursuing hobbies and interests. We will support participants in pursuing their hobbies and interests, such as joining a sports club, attending an art class, or learning a musical instrument.
- Our support workers will assist participants in finding volunteering opportunities in their local community and provide support to participate in such activities.
- We will provide guidance and assistance to participants in accessing community resources such as libraries, community centres, and recreational facilities.
Our team works closely with the participant to understand their interests, preferences, and goals
and create a personalised plan to support their community participation. We strive to promote
independence, build confidence, and enhance socialisation skills while ensuring the safety and
well-being of the participant.
